Andrew Alexander Stevens has cancer;
but this isn’t about him.

Every Silver Lining

Every Silver Lining is an original, dramedic, coming-of-age musical about death and the perseverance of life. With beautiful music and charming dialogue, the show brings audiences through the entire gamut of human emotion, leaving patrons laughing and crying in the same breath.

Allison Wither and Laura Piccinin created this show as a way to process the experience of losing their friends to cancer and in a car accident, respectively, in their youth. They sat together for the first time at a wrap party at Frankie’s Diner, and decided to create a touching, comedic show that explores the various ways in which young people experience and process grief, as an homage to their younger selves. After years of writing (and years of grieving) Ali and Laura have finally found the words to turn their grief back into love.
